If you do not think so, go to Vietnam, and say a Vietnamese sentence to Vietnamese people then you will see. They will give you big smiles and may give you a discount if you buy something.

You must remember a lot of new words, grammar, phrases, pronunciation, idioms, etc. when you learn a new language. As a result, it helps to enhance your memory. Furthermore, it improves your critical thinking skills because you must think in another language.

Learning new languages allows you to talk to more people and build a network. Building a network means you can have opportunities that other people do not have. I can be an example. I know English and Vietnamese at this moment, so this website has these two languages. Automatically, my visitors are from Vietnam and English-speaking countries. If I did not know English, I would be unable to approach to people who can speak English. My audience would become smaller, so I would not be able to help a lot of people. Think about this.
