There are so many websites or applications to learn languages. It is impossible to use all of them. I will not list everything in this post. Instead, I will tell you the platforms that I use to learn new languages, which means I know and have experience with them.
1. Duolingo
Duolingo is very popular. You can study any languages on their website or application anywhere and anytime. Duolingo is fun and interactive. One of the most interesting things about Duolingo is you can build your streak by finishing a lesson each day. It motivates you to learn because you do not want to lose your streak. Furthermore, you can move to new leagues if you are in the top 10 of the leader boards, which is also a motivation. You can also ask and answer questions from other users, which can help you understand the language you are learning more. In my opinion, Duolingo is a good place to learn new vocabulary and phrases. However, it sucks if you want to practice speaking with native speakers.
2. Rosetta Stone
Many people like Rosetta Stone because it is fun to learn. They have a lot of pictures and audios, which can help you remember better. Rosetta Stone can help to improve your pronunciation and reading skills because they have many exercises that require you to record your voice. The downside of Rosetta Stone is you have to pay for it. It offers new users free trials, but it costs money if you want to learn more. In other words, you may only get good results with Rosetta Stone if you spend money on it. In addition, it may be not a good place to learn if you want to interact with native speakers.
3. Italki
Italki is wonderful if you want to interact with native speakers. You can make new friends and exchange languages. You can also have lessons with tutors and professional teachers, but you have to pay for it. The price is around $4-$20. You can study for 30-60 minutes based on your schedule. Tutors and professional teachers set their own prices, so you can choose someone whom you can afford. There are so many tutors and professional teachers to select. I am learning Spanish on Italki now. My tutors are from Spain, Argentina, and Venezuela. I enjoy it a lot because it is a great opportunity to learn with native speakers. If you are interested in learning on Italki, click here to sign up because you can earn an extra $10 after spending $20. Feel free to join me on Italki.
4. Last but not least. MindPho
MindPho is a great place to start learning a new language. I am offering Vietnamese and English courses on MindPho. I can teach young learners and adults. Each lesson is personalized based on your level. The difference between MindPho and other websites is I will not only teach you Vietnamese or English but also provide you information related to life skills and business. It may be meaningless if you just learn how to say hi or basic things. My goals are to help you master in Vietnamese or English and enhance your life. Therefore, feel free to book me here, and let’s connect!
